More and more people find it difficult to find suitable and effective answers to their chronic health issues because we tend to treat the symptoms rather than the root factors of these conditions. It is now widely recognised that certain chronic diseases such as skin conditions, digestive problems, autoimmune diseases, anxiety or depression greatly benefit from a comprehensive approach that is both holistic and individualised. While conventional treatments often provide excellent short-term solutions to relieve symptoms, they sometimes fail to improve these conditions in the long term.
Scientific studies in recent years have highlighted the importance of emotional and psychological factors in our health, specifically in the onset of chronic diseases. Many factors in our lives can influence the appearance of these symptoms: lifestyle habits, of course, but also challenging events we went through, emotions we repressed, or even the stress to which we are exposed every day. These factors can contribute to the onset of these chronic diseases. We often know deep down what they are and how they cause our symptoms.
In many cases, resolving these chronic conditions begins with understanding the various factors that have caused them. With her training in allopathic medicine and holistic health, Emilie assesses with you what the root causes of these chronic conditions may be, then discusses the best approach to treat them. She offers some of these solutions herself through gut flora management and hypnotherapy.
Hypnotherapy is a very effective way to access our subconscious mind and reinterpret beliefs and judgements deeply rooted in our mind.
Every day, our conscious mind interprets what it sees with judgments and beliefs defined by our life experiences. These interpretations are useful because they help us identify ourselves, understand and interact with our environment. But sometimes, these judgments and interpretations no longer serve us, creating stress and emotional responses in our bodies that impair our health.
A state of hypnosis allows us to access the theta wave brain-state, where beliefs and judgement that are blocking us can be released. We can then create new neurological pathways, allowing us to have new emotional responses and behaviours.
When you are awake, your conscious mind is awake and in control. When you sleep, your conscious mind sleeps and dreams come from your subconscious “talking to us”. During hypnotherapy, while your conscious mind is still awake, it lets your subconscious do the talking and lead the way. You remain at all times in full possession of your means.
A session last 60 to 90 minutes. After defining the pattern of behaviours and the emotions you need to work on during a session, you will relax, and Emilie will guide you towards a hypnotic state. In every moment, you are entirely in control. How far you will go in a state of hypnosis and how far you will access hypnosis is entirely up to you. Everyone is receptive and can get great results from hypnotherapy as long as they are willing to work.
We usually need 5 to 10 sessions to fully explore and heal one specific issue.
Hypno nutrition is a new approach to nutrition, focusing on our relationship to food and reconnecting our mind and body. Our emotional connection with food is a coping mechanism to help us deal with negative beliefs and self-judgements that we are often unaware of. Our conscient mind is only 10 % of our brain, and most of these judgements and beliefs are stored in our subconscious mind. After identifying the nature of our emotional relationship and how it prevents us from having a healthy balanced diet and lifestyle, hypnotherapy allows us to access our subconscious minds, to heal and reinterpret beliefs and judgements so that we can change our relationship with food.
In front of certain situations, we often need to repress our emotions. These emotions are kept in our bodies and crystallised in various tissue or create underlying stress by accumulating in our minds. In the long term, keeping these emotions can create various symptoms we struggle to explain. Digestive troubles, food intolerances, and pains can all find their sources in underlying stress or crystallised emotions. Hypnotherapy can be very helpful in front of these symptoms that a traditional approach couldn't resolve by accessing and releasing these underlying stress or emotions.
Sessions of Hypno nutrition will involve 2 parts. First, we will do a nutrition evaluation to understand what changes need to occur, then use hypnotherapy to access our subconscious mind and reinterpret these beliefs and judgement that prevent us from healing and rebalancing our lifestyle and diet.
Thanks to training as a medical biologist, specialised in microbiology, and a collaboration with Chinese University, we now offer a complete intestinal test to analyse the health of your gut microbiome.
The gut is called the second brain, as the intestinal flora is complex and constantly interacts with our different systems and organs. A healthy intestinal flora is essential for good health.
This test examines the good and bad bacteria that may be present in your gut, as well as the balance between the different populations and the diversity of the flora, and makes it possible to highlight a dysbiosis. Dysbiosis is an imbalance between these microorganisms that can be involved in various health problems, such as inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, allergy, eczema, obesity, diabetes and many others. A rebalancing of the intestinal flora is often essential to effectively treat these conditions.
With these results I will advise you on which foods, probiotics and supplements can help treat this dysbiosis, and help recover from the medical condition you are suffering from on the long term.
